What is your favorite part of being a TEEN VOGUE intern?
My favorite part about being a TEEN VOGUE intern is the chance to take part in unique opportunities. I love being able to help out at events and get the full experience of working at the magazine. Since I have interned in both editorial and marketing I have been able to experience and learn about how all elements of the publication work together.

How did you land this internship?
I found an ad for an opening in the fashion department online and sent my resume and cover letter as soon as I saw it! At my interview I made sure to stay cool, collective and confident! After a semester in edits, I switched over to advertising.

What advice would you give aspiring students on landing an internship?
The advice I would give to an aspiring student on landing an internship is to apply to as many openings as possible! Even if you think you may be under qualified, you never know what someone is looking for. After you do that, stay confident and whatever is meant to be will happen.

What do you believe is the most important quality to possess in order to be a successful intern?
I believe the most important quality to possess in order to be a successful intern is responsibility, which is closely followed by optimism. When someone is responsible at work all of the other important qualities fall into place such as punctuality, hard working, critical thinking and consistency. Optimism is something to always keep in mind though; no one wants to work alongside someone miserable!

How did your passion for fashion transpire?
Since I was little I have always had a passion for fashion. I went to a grade and high school where everyone was required to wear uniforms and I feel that this triggered my longing for self-expression through fashion when I was little.

Who are your favorite designers?
My favorite designers change fairly often, just as my own personal style does. One designer I have always admired though is Alberta Ferretti. I love the very feminine, romantic and vintage inspired theme in all of her collections. Many of her designs are always in style, not just a fast fashion trend.

What are your favorite sources for fashion inspiration?
My favorite sources for fashion inspiration vary very much! I like to take inspiration from the people around me and street style, since I go to fashion school practically everyone has their own unique sense of style. I also like to look at the different ways different cultures and countries interpret fashion such as French fashion compared to Italian, American, etc.

What is your signature look?
My signature look is something that is fashionable yet comfortable and practical. I like to mix feminine, girly pieces with more tomboy ones such as a lace top with a leather motorcycle jacket. I love brands with luxury denim such as Rag and Bone, Textile Elizabeth and James and J Brand. They offer something you can either dress down or up while still being in fashion.

What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to own my own Public Relations firm. I love to connect with a lot of different people, plan events and use social media. I feel like owning a PR firm I would be able to use all of these sociable skills to my advantage. Although it is a competitive field I am confident that I have the determination to succeed in it!
