lori jacobus Lori Jacobus is the Chief Marketing Officer for Murad Inc., leading all global marketing including brand development, public relations, creative, and education, for products, services, and new market opportunities. In addition, Lori guides strategy for product development, brand profitability, and overall brand strategy.

Since assuming the role as CMO, Lori has developed and executed some of the most successful marketing campaigns throughout the 20+ years of Murad's company history. In addition to launching Murad's Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture onto Sephora's top seller list, Lori's development of the new Hybrids treatment cosmetics and Anti-Aging Acne lines were instrumental in obtaining numerous consumer media awards, with accolades stemming from Good Housekeeping to MORE magazine. In addition, the marketing and PR campaigns surrounding Dr. Murad's most recent book, The Water Secret: The Cellular Breakthrough To Look And Feel 10 Years Younger, catapulted the title onto the best-seller lists for Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Book Scan.

Lori joined Murad as Vice President of Marketing in 2008, continuously delivering top and bottom line growth, year-after-year, in a down economy.

Lori began her career at Sachs, Finley & Company, focusing on such iconic kid's brands as Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles and Power Rangers. Graduating from Sachs as a Senior Account Executive, she joined ICEbox Advertising where she rose to Executive Vice President and launched some of the fastest growing health and beauty products of all time including StriVectin, Relacore and Leptoprin. At ICEbox, Lori was responsible for global viability of the agency and developing top level advertising strategies across a broad range of clients and categories, utilizing branded, direct response and hybrid media.
