Phillip Lim, the esteemed American fashion designer, and CFDA winner, is the design name on every girl's lips (no matter what the age). Lim, awarded first place in the Women's Designer 'Rising Star' category, and a finalist for the Fashion Fund Award was honored with the CFDA Swarovski Award for emerging talent in women's wear last year. In 2007, Lim introduced menswear and accessories and opened up the first 3.1 Phillip Lim store in New York City. What's next for this design wunderkind? Lim is in the process of launching 3.1 Phillip Lim kid's wear and eyewear collections in collaboration with luxury eyewear company, MODO.
